Thursday, October 23 there was in Naples the "Mobile Camp" organized by Microsoft with my community DotNetCampania and focused on the development on Windows Phone and Windows platforms.
This time, with great honor, I will be among the speakers of the Community Days 2014 to be held September 23 to 25 in Rome, after I was there more times as attendee in the past.
The honor will be double, because I will have the session with my dear friend Valter Minute that I recognized as the "Maradona" of embedded systems.
Our session entitled "Internet of Things: my washing machine connected to the Internet?" will be completely dedicated to IoT starting from embedded systems (Microsoft based) to the possible solutions in the Cloud, including the future project "Reykjavik" based on Azure and presented at Build 2014; the title tells the truth, among other things, we will have as its protagonist a washing machine (toy) !

On Saturday 15th of February was staged the second edition of Microsoft Embedded Conference which was held at the Holiday Inn in Naples and organized by the DotNetCampania community (I am a member of it), TinyCLR.it and Embedded101, this community that is a reference on Windows Embedded of which, I’m a "board of directors" member since November 2013.
Also this year there was a good turnout of attendees even though it was Saturday, because the main topic was the Internet of Things and M2M Communication of which we hear persistently in the last period as the business of the future for the big network.

The 2014 Microsoft Embedded Conference is the 2nd annual event hosted by DotNetCampania. The theme for this year’s event is focusing on Internet of Things and M2M related subjects.
