The serial pins on the Raspberry PI now have a driver in Windows 10 IoT Core on RPI2!
Just took the time to look at the latest build notes:
It says that native serial is available.
So I jumpered pins 8 and 10 on the RPI2 and ran my version of the IoT Serial example (at 115200 BAUD) and
“The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog” was transmitted and received.
When you run the IOT Serial sample it shows up on the list of serial ports (eg as well as a USB serial port).
Houston we have lift off.
The missing link has been found..
Could you please give some hint, how to jumper the pins 8 and 10 and then to see in the list ('C:\>wmic path Win32_SerialPort'). Thank you! Davit
