The best platform we can use to develop for the Internet of Things if we have a constrained device (ex. few KB of RAM and ARM7 CPU without MMU) is the .Net Micro Framework we have talked about in the previous chapter. One of the target devices we can use with this framework is the Netduino Plus board from Secret Labs (first or new generation). In this chapter we will develop a simple example using M2Mqtt library compiled for .Net Micro Framework and used by clients running on Netduino Plus devices as publisher and subscriber of MQTT protocol architecture.
